At the foot of Ullock Pike, just 4 miles north of Keswick, Ravenstone Lodge enjoys easy access to many of the notable Skiddaw walks and especially the Allerdale Ramble.
A converted 19th century stable, the lodge boasts excellent views towards Bassenthwaite Lake and the beautiful North Western Fells. It is set back from the main road, in 5 acres of spectacular countryside.
Ravenstone has original pitch pine ceilings and an open log fire in the residents’ lounge, as well a large walled garden and free off-road parking.
The restaurant retains original stable fittings and serves traditional home-cooked cuisine, including a full English breakfast. Diners can eat on the terrace or have a drink in the conservatory, both of which have stunning views.
The Lodge is 5 minutes’ drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, 10 minutes from Keswick and Derwent Water and 30 minutes from Penrith and the M6 motorway.
